  • @helipiloting

To the right of the Altitude ribbon..Probably not able to see it until the aircraft is either climbing or descending.

  • Looks nice, i'd much rather fly steam gauges..

Reminds me of a trip in my buddys 98 Explorer..

We smelled something hot and looked at eachother, he glanced at the cluster and noticed the temp gauge reading HOT..The Explorer in that year had a digital computer with engine stats..We looked at the computer and it told the temp to be normal..Well.

  • It looks good ,but I did not see the VSI???

  • @CommonRaven I accept my initial comment was a bit harsh. I would probably still prefer the Schweizer 300 CBi as there is a bit more "personal space", higher rotor inertia, a throttle you have to work etc. I agree the R22 is one of the most reliable ships around, I guess I worry as the now ubiquitous training workhorse is likely the least forgiving around in the hands of the low airtime pilot.

  • @CommonRaven Inherently flawed design. I stand by my comment.

  • @peter3127 moron

  • what is a ballpark figure for this system?

  • @peter3127 haha you beat me to it! ;)

  • Will it show you a video of your last moments after a mast bump or low inertia rotor stall? Frankly (no pun intended), any aircraft that requires changes to the FAA rules to allow it to fly has to be carefully considered. Look at the Guimbal Cabri G2 in comparison.
