I could live with that 0.1second slower time with all the extra fun I'm getting from RWD car :) And how about practicality? Boot space, and ie. turning circle? This is a city car after all..

I think I'm wanting a Golf R32.

Maybe you should get a MG Rover dummy. Oh no that BRITISH car company went broke and is now sold as Chinese crap called Roewe.
Meanwhile "BMW Group Announces Record Global Sales In November 2011"...
Overpriced? You are just "rationalizing" the fact that you and many poor wankers like you can't afford nice German cars.

they must crash alot of cars on fifth gear judging by the amount of mud on those cars

135's are running above 400hp for a few hundred dollars in turbo rechipping. BMW will do it for you and still honor the warranty for more money. A hopped up 135 will turn in about 3.7 secs 0-60, with no gear change required.

@JayRicci7891 And why do you buy a fast car? To have fun or to cut of 1 sec on a track? I know why I bought my 135ia Coupé anyway

@z8machine lol@3's to 60!! What are you smoking?! Send some my way you nutter!

Love the new 1 series coupe's look.. But this old hatchback version looks unbalanced and weird.

Every video where I see the golf win, its always the drivers fault huh?
@strathpol They timed a top spec BMW 1 series against a Golf R32 on Top Gear about 5 years ago. The Golf was over a second faster... Clarkson actually said the BMW was more fun on a track but the Golf R32 "Hammered it" everywhere else.

@CoonBabble
the 135i doesn't exist in a hatchback, only in coupé and cabrio
