Are you white? Most white people have wingspans right around their heights (mine is 5'10 but I'm 5'11) and generally have longer necks/bigger heads therefore shorter reaches. 8'2 at at 6'1 for a black person is not uncommon... for anybody else it is uncommon. My friend is 6'2 with a 7'10 reach... and his wingspan is 6'2 so it's not like it's shorter than his height like mine.

Damn 8'1 reach at 6'2... For a white dude that's pretty crazy. I wish I had that... I'm at 7'7 lol (Though I'm only 5'11)

i think it depends on how well u grip the ball if u cant grip it that well u will need more and inches to jump to get above the rim but if u can grip it well then ya it would only take about 6-7 inches...and most people that are 6 feet and over can palm the ball off a bounce
