@143rdShadowARCunit Most likely Ciel passed away by the events of ZX. In order to preserve the memories of X and Zero , Ciel came up with the biometals using their data.I hate it when people keep saying that Zero and X aren't dead cos they re in ZX when they clearly ARE dead and are just pieces of artificial data in ZX and not the real thing anymore...

ok i think we all agree that the megaman zero 4 ending sucked ass zero died ok that was bad the series was depresiv zero dies x died alot of people died all just to make a 4 game sieries that was short the games are good but come on they could have been longer

The question here becomes "What is a soul?" Zero and X have essentially become human in all but body, developing their own unique personalities, beliefs, and emotions. You've gotta stop thinking of them in terms of what we've developed in real life, as we simply haven't created something so complex that it could very well qualify as a unique, self-aware being.
You're thinking "Skynet," while MM Reploids seem more in line with Bicentennial Man.
