Andrae Crouch - A Jesus Music Pioneer

The late 60's and early '70's were a time of tremendous upheaval in American culture as the hippie generation abandoned the values of their parents, turned to drugs and away from materialism, and went on a search for love and peace.

It was out of this tumultuous era that young, musical voices began to surface. These newly converted musicians began singing about the new hope they had found through Jesus Christ.

What an absolutely wonderful testimony to God's love through Jesus Christ. I hate to tell you ProheticObserver, but in the Old Testament instruments WERE used and people DID sing. If God had not meant for us to he would have never given some of us the ability. God gave me my talent as a pianist and singer, and I've used it to bring people to Christ. Judge not lest ye be judged. Andrae Crouch has a wonderful music ministry. God bless him.

First Love is a good video, it doesn't bring back the fire and passion that these same artists had in the early 70s, but it is not the producer's fault, they did the best they could. The truth is most of the artists brought together for this video have lost the fire of the Holy Ghost they once had. But Andre did a good job in sharing from his heart on this video. Buy the First Love video, it is worth it.
