when we talk about super charged V8 machines, we agree in one think...ZR1 rape a Shelby, but if we talk about aspirated engines Ford is the Boss.

@hugosuave1, as a chevy guy I have to agree with you. Corvette is in a different class and price range. Comparing a GT500 to say a ZL1 camaro is more apples to apples. Although I must admit the new GT500 is setting the bar VERY high. Well done Ford.

As a mustang guy I love how much corvettes come up on mustang vs camaro vids. Why ford won't build this 5.8l 650hp Ford gt with carbon brakes ford fans have wet dreams about I don't know. But one thing is for cirtain, It would ass rape and splooge all over the ZR1's carbon hood. LOL!

@braddfordy You are completely right is a 2.3 liter super charger my mistake. is a 2.8 liter super charger that will use in a project make me crazy jajajajajaja.

@oiler31 tq is 600 but ford pulled alot of tq out of the setup to keep from blowing the tires off! the 13 gt500 makes 500ft/lbs @2000rpm that is just sick and will finish the 1/4th mile in 3rd gear! with a 331 gear thats gonna mid to high 11s with a trap of 124-127

only the big engines are good like the 454 and thats like 16 miles per gallon max

Lots of horsepower, lots of torque. We're getting into territory where it's going to be harder and harder for cars with street legal tires to hook up and get traction for most drivers. I foresee a LOT of videos of people doing a lot of spinning, and a lot of running off the road and running into crowds of spectators.
