The Advantage is an American math rock band from Sacramento CA that formed in 1998 and specializes in doing covers of music from old NES games. They have covered songs from numerous videogames, including Mega Man, Air Fortress, Castlevania and Metroid. As of 2008 they have released two albums on the record label 5RC.

The band consists of Robby Moncrieff (guitar), Ben Milner (guitar), Carson McWhirter (bass) and Spencer Seim (drums) of Hella. Nick Rogers and Forrest Harding are the two original members that started the band, and Cassie Stewart was featured on bass for a while as well. Seim, who attended high school with Rogers and Harding, asked if he could play drums for them and was accepted. At the time the band was called Generic. Robby owns one quarter of the van.

  • whats the link to download it

  • One of my favorite video game tunes of all time and there's almost no recognition for it at all, and it's never reused in any other Bomberman game ever that came afterward as far as I know. Hearing any remix of it makes me really happy, but hearing a GOOD one like this makes me ecstatic.

  • My secret favorite song on the album.

  • It is good........but why do people always feel the need to Rockify the NES tunes? Listen to the original. It has more in common with Rap or Dance or something.

This is a good piece of work. I do like it!
