Also, I think they didn't embrace the fact that Harrison Ford is 65 years old. Rocky Balboa was still pretty good because they didn't try to hide the fact that he was an older guy. They embraced it and made it a part of the plot. If you try and hide the fact that Indiana Jones is so god damn old people say its stupid and illogical.

After watching all of those interviews and having Spielberg pretty much going "fine whatever George", I'm even more conviced that Lucas has no idea what the fuck is going on around him.

He's like a retarded 8 year old that just wanders into a room and starts saying whatever the fuck comes into his fat bearded head.

So in order to make him shut up and go away people just give in to his stupid ideas.

George Lucas truly is the master of ruining things.

@Jman92854; No I mean that it was different in that it was NOT religious, it was sci-fi. Consider the Ark (religious), the stones (religious), and the Grail (religious) vs the skulls (aliens). It throws people off.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if Spielberg and Lucas were trying to be PC by using aliens instead of religious artifacts as well. Lord knows some people love to get offended at the drop of a hat.
