It is a sad day in many parts of the UK. Local radio stations are disappearing, and being re-branded as Heart.

Get into ham radio to start with. Not so tough really... Local FM is easy as well; but FM band will be gone with Digital Radio soon.

Acrually I;m not all that adverse to Leona. Like her range and the production on some of her records is amazing. Pity the same can't be said for most of the R&B out there. But I DO like the Killers! They rawk in an odd way!

Sounds like an episode from Dr. Who, they take over the airwaves then zap our brains with soundwaves...

Same with digital tv in US. Easier for the Dalek signals to get across.

Toronto was the start for Virgin radio Canada.

Now there's one in Montreal, Vancouver, and a rock version of it in Ottawa.

They should have left the Bear in Ottawa alone. It was fine the way it was! (it was already a perfectly fine variety rock station with great ratings!)

Yeah - I just can't dance :( Funny thing is do have rhythm (you can hear the foot tappin' at the end) LOL - just some difficulties in coordination :)
