Great job! I ride and event a mustang also- he used to have the same problem with rushing! But I think his issue was that the right muscles hadn't built up yet so he just threw himself at it. But all better now! ;)

yea frito bandito is just getting amazing at keeping the same pace--it's so nice when you feel you've accomplished something! (or in this case, rennie has accomplished it with bandit)

I think he anticipates the jump, hence the rushing. Nice job, love your position over the fence. If I were you I would give Bandit more of an approach to the jump, but then again I'm not the one riding the horse! Just a thought. :D

the more time he has for the apporach the more speed he gains (i know i know, you'd think half-halting would do the trick..not with this pony! haha)

yes last monday in our lesson the instructor noticed the issue and now her stirrups are correct, thanks for noticing!
