Tribal Treks takes ordinary people on extraordinary adventures with the First Nations people of Canada.

In this episode, Tim Mah, a ballroom dancer, and Jill Henis, a ballet and contemporary dancer, journey to the Kamloopa Powwow in British Columbia, Canada, to learn traditional dances from Marcie Meguinis and Travis Dugas, two acclaimed powwow dancers.

Along the way, they explore the traditional pit houses of the Kamloopa people and eat bannock.

Chief Shane Gottfriedson of the Kamloops Indian Band and Dennis Bowen, Master of Ceremonies, provide insight on the annual Kamloopa Powwow.
