Son of Dave is Benjamin Darvill, a Canadian bluesman and writer who has been living in London for more than 10 years. The track Rollin' And Tumblin' (Muddy Waters) is from Son of Dave's 2000-ish release 02. We shot all this gonzo, the pied piper stuff one evening along Toronto's Queen Street West, Benjamin pulling wacky characters to come see him play the Horsehoe. We grabbed the minstrel part at Pride, the next day. Robyn Donio and I captured this on two identical PD150s. Brian Murphy's Wabi Sabi gave original editing. I updated it in April 2010. enjoy.
