You have a similar story as I do. Few of my Serb friends call me a displaced Slav, as my heritage is Ruthenian. But I am an American by birth, and Slav by choice. It is sickening the foul play behind much of the Balkan region and how the US and other Western powers ass raped the area after the people of Serbia helped so much in the past. When I found out what my friends have gone thru I was even more disgusted. I land in Beograd in 1½ months roughly. I look forward to calling Srbija home.

Yeah, our government has been trying to appease the Muslims, and out of some sort of stupid sense of fair play we sold out. We have sold out Israel too. I honestly think we just didn't get what it is like to be on the edge of civilization, next to the Muslims, so we are a poor arbitrator. I think we Americans are seeing there is no peace with Muslims, but now we are mixed in too. Bosnia, Kosovo is the end ... how it looks when the societies split, I don't think we got it.
