It's a terrific game on the PS Vita too but the 3DS version looks... well... underwhelming to say the least.

played the game on 360 and played the 3ds demo. the framerate is so horrible, i noticed it within 5 seconds of driving. 5 SECONDS. this only happens on the 3ds version though. whats even worse is that when you play the second level in the demo, a boost challenge, its just you racing and STILL the framerate makes it unplayable. IT CANT HANDLE EVEN A SINGLE RACER. this game is officialy the least playable sonic game i ever played.

It's an almost direct console port on the 3DS. You shouldn't expect it to look as good as the PC or console versions.
