As promised, here is my much anticipated song to mark the 30th drums cover milestone of my YouTube Drums Channel & what better way to commemorate than to do a song from my all-time fav band, MEGADETH!!!
You might have heard this awesome song from Arnold Schwarzenegger's movie, Last Action Hero soundtrack, featuring a star-studded cast of the best metal & rock bands, MEGADETH, Alice In Chains, Queensryche & the likes.
And i gotta tell ya, after playing this song, i have a new found respect for Nick Menza, ex-drummer of MEGADETH. He played this song with alot of flair & high octane energy, with brilliant use of triplets in some of the drum fills. My arms are now aching after playing this song with all my might. =)
Imagine playing drums for a MEGADETH concert with a setlist of 15 high-octane complex songs, now u see why Nick Menza was so awesome back in the day.
For this song, i used Ayotte Drums (1994 Edition) sound kit, matching the Tama Drums used by Nick Menza when he recorded this song back in 1992. Hope you enjoy my cover.
Thx for your continuous support for my YouTube Drums Channel. More of your fav rock tunes comin' right up. Stay tuned!
Later...

Noted, bro boleon121. Will turn up my amp volume. I also need to switch to a proper camcorder. Was using an old digital camera to record this cover. =)

Thx bro, glad u like it. I got this Roland TD-9KX with add-on Tom & Crash at abt $5k++ from a local music distributor here in my country, Singapore. U could get it even cheaper at yur USA local stores tat carry Roland drums as it is manufactured in yur country, so u hav it lucky. hehe
