Tennis Ball-Sized Snow Flakes Over Maghera, N. Ireland - Feb 14th 2011

Tennis Ball-Sized Snow Flakes Over Maghera, N. Ireland - Feb 14th 2011 from a snow shower with strong radar echoes. The average snow flake size was similar to a golf ball however there where regular falls of much larger flakes the size of a tennis ball. The scene was quite spectacular, I have never seen snow flakes this big in my entire life. Video doesn't do the scene justice at all without a sense of scale.

@asteroid42531mckenna What kinda camera you got? i have a panasonic sdr-h85 its got great zoom and loads of hdd space but its junk in low light :'(

@kidri0t I was just using the vid mode on my old Fujifilm S5600 bridge camera. I need to upgrade to something decent in the near future.
