A Christmas Blessing For Rachel

We've been bringing our 12-year old neighbor Rachel from across the street to church with us for a couple of months and she really enjoys the worship at Anderson Mill Road Baptist in Moore, South Carolina. Rachel has been attending the youth Sunday School class led by Shannan Manley each week with her big bright smiling face and Shannan noticed Rachel often wore the same clothes every week. I explained that her family is struggling financially, so they can't afford to get her any new clothes. So Shannan went out and got Rachel a whole bunch of gifts to open up and enjoy for Christmas 2008. This video shows the joy and happiness that Rachel had opening those incredible gifts of love and care from her Sunday School teacher. THANK YOU, Mrs. Manlay!

Nice, Jimmy--it just goes to show how little it takes to make a child happy. Shannon Manley did a wonderful thing here and went beyond the "job" of teaching Sunday School to live the lessons she teaches. Great!

Really great video Jimmy and Christine. There are so much anti-religion videos on YouTube it is nice to see this. It doesnt matter what you may believe or not believe. What is often not reported or shown are good deeds done by the many thousands of churches across this country. This is a great example of a good deed. They made this little girls Christmas that much better.
