Let's Play! with Marika Bournaki

Let's Play! (On Joue!) is an innovative, interdisciplinary show that combines the beauty of classical music with the pure honesty of children's art and other innovative forms of artistic expression.

The show began by engaging local children through artistic community outreach with pianist Marika Bournaki, culminating in a benefit concert for a local Montreal school, which played to a sold-out crowd and raised funds to help build a green playground,

The process begins when Marika visits the school to speak with the children and then to encourage them to create art inspired by the music she plays for them. This artwork then becomes an integral part of the show itself as large scale projections on stage.

Created and directed by Bobbi Jo Hart of Esperanto Productions Inc., Let's Play! is now travelling internationally to engage local children and audiences around the world.

Marika and Bobbi Jo are passionate about helping make classical music more accessible and engaging to a wider audience, especially youth.
