This film shows Provence Aquaculture, near to Marseille, that produces sea bass and sea bream in a sustainable way. The products are certified as organic (Agriculture Biologique)and are sold to restaurants and supermarkets throughout France and Europe

Thats right, most of our fisheries are close to big cities.

Perhaps because being too close to the seashore there would be industrial or domestic outflows in the water which may harm the fish.

Good video. In Spain fish farms are more distant from the seashore I don't know why, perhaps the ownwers are afraid their fish to be stolen.
