I never thought that Green Lantern would do well on the big screen because there is to much silly stuff in the comics. I think this is the best Green Lantern movie they could of made, the reason I think people hate it so much is because it doesn't do anything special or awesome, but I liked it for what it was.

PS: If you went to go see Green Lantern thinking it was going to be like dark knight your a dumb ass
