  • Baby Gramps is the rusty nail that stirs life's whisky, He's the 12 string driftwood guitar stung with barbed wire. He is the delight of salty angels and king of the buzz saw sopranos. He is the finger accustomed to the weather beaten world. He's grown out of the ground like as a poetic potato. He is teaching us all how beautiful, ugly can be.

  • Pish tosh, Pwecko! Baby Gramps is the greatest musician on this green and blue orb! His voice is like nature writing its own epic poetry, and his guitar playing is electrifying! Verily, Baby Gramps is like a Pacific Northwest forest spirit who has appeared among us so that we might know how the gods get their freak on.

  • @ALEXRAFFI

    well said

  • How the hell was I singing along? 0.o

  • where/how can I get this album? Really, really awesome.

  • @TheRealmsOfGold I'm of the belief that it's not how you start but how you finish . . . to me, it was worth wait and then some . . .

  • @ryu8888 I'm sorry you're so upset. I'm actually enjoying musing over this stuff! Anyway, I don't think either a) or b) is necessarily true, or necessarily false—it really depends on your point of view. I know people who would agree, disagree, be offended, not give a crap, and so on. Also, I'm trying to use the best words to express my point of view, regardless of their length.

I don't think you're homophobic at all—I'm just looking to dig into the issue a little more. And I don't own a TV :-)

  • @TheRealmsOfGold my thoughts are that you avoided the fact that both point a. and point b. are true, then attempted to cover it up with big words and by pretending to be musing over philosophical mysteries on a fucking youtube video. There's nothing to convince myself of, dumbass- go look up the words. Meanings change over time. If you think I'm somehow homophobic, then you really need to get out more often, or at least watch your telly.

  • @ryu8888: I have to disagree—I usually avoid PC'ness at all cost except where feminist theory is concerned. In this case, I'd argue that anyone saying that kind of stuff is simply reinforcing their own behaviors and thought patterns in which those insults are acceptable, making it less likely they'll have a problem with them if anybody were actually offended. (Which I'm not.) I think it's an interesting concept, anyway. Thoughts?
