You're Not Alone Ch 62 [p 1/3]

So sorry! it's been a long time! i'm back at home and school has already started.. been busy and havent had anytime to write!

After Mrs. Carter dropped off her late children at school, she rushed home to check on Selena. She plopped her coat on a chair and hiked up the stairs to find her daughter peacefully sleeping. Mrs. Carter felt relieved and walked back down the stairs and relaxed on the couch with the newspapers daily crossword.
Around nine thirty, Selena finally awoke. She climbed out of bed and shuffled into the bathroom. She took a peek in the mirror and was shocked at her reflection. Her hair was a tangled mess and her eyes were red and droopy, her cheeks and nose were rosy red. Selena ran the faucet and splashed some cold water on her face. That woke her up. Before coming out of her room, she stepped into her slippers. Selena wobbled down the staircase and plopped down next to her mom on the couch.
"Morning Sweetie. Five letter word, sixth president of the United States." Her mom recited.
"Adams." Selena breathed.
"Thanks. President Theodores nickname..."
"Teddy." Selena answered again. "Mom, why are you doing a crossword, youre terrible at them."
"Aw, I was bored, waitin for you to get up."
"Thats nice," Selena coughed.
"OK, guess what?" Mrs. Carter turned to her daughter and smiled. "I have the whole day planned out for us. Just you and me, together spending the day together."
"Great..." Selena slowly gridded and inconspicuously rolled her eyes.
"Today, it will be like a mini spa day for you. To help you relax and get well." Mrs. Carter beamed with excitement as she popped from the couch to the kitchen to fill her coffee mug. "I do it to Miley when she isnt feeling well, and Ive always wanted to do it to you or Demi..."
"But Im not Miley, I hate this kind of stuff." Selena mumbled.
"Why dont you go get into you favorite comfy clothes and come back. Then will start your treatment, my little princess." Mrs. Carter gave Selena a gentle smile and then sipped her hazelnut coffee; Selena could smell it as it seeped its way through her stuffed nose.
Selena trotted upstairs and pulled out a pair of decorative fleece pajama bottoms, a white cami, and a purple tee from her dresser. She changed in her bathroom and came stumbling back down the stairs.
"OK, Im ready..." Selena exhaled.
"OK, follow me," her mom called as she stepped into her bedroom.
"ready to be tortured." Selena mumbled. She sneezed then followed her mom into her bedroom.
"What are you doing?" Selena sniffled.
"I am adjusting the settings on the mini sauna. This is the first step to getting better, clearing out your upper respiratory... with steam." She stated proudly as she hit the green go button. Mrs. Carter skipped away to fetch something from another room. Selena mouthed and looked up at the ceiling. "Why doesnt she realize Im not Miley? I just want to go back to bed... please..."
"OK, Im Ready, lets go." Mrs. Carter opened the door letting out a storm of steam out into the bathroom, she motioned her daughter to step inside so she could close the door.

Later at lunch with the rest of the bunch, everyone was chit-chatting when a boy stood in front of them.

yeah.. dont u hate tht, when some one treats u stereotypically? Mom thinks just b/c miley/demi/sel are sisters doesnt mean they liek the same stuff.. i'm not interested in anythign my sisters are interested in..
