@1401JSC he didn't say Cage used Zen Buddhist scales... it's not about notes, it's about the philosophy.

New age? Not before 1960, I'd say.
Zen? Budhist? I don't know their musical scales.
This is a modified phrygian mode, rather like the tunings of certain African Xylophones, I'd say.

I'm sorry, I can't send you the sheet music - I lent it from the music library. And it's under copyright, sinnce Cage died only 17 years ago.
