=Quick note=
Yes, you can debate if this is good or not. Just don't be an idiot like the guy who said The Beatles' version appeared on the White Album. Kay?
----
This is the studio version of Lucy in The Sky With Diamonds as performed by Elton John and Dr. Winston O'Boogie. It was used for the movie "All This and World War II."

For those of you that don't know, 'Lucy' is actually Lucy Vodden, who recently passed away.
RIP Lucy.

  • This one of the VERY FEW Beatles covers that I don't see as a sacrilege.

  • nowhere near as good as the original. not as spacey and eltons vocals are way too "musical theatre". some cool bits in it though.

  • @Delivered0ne lol dr pepper

  • actually john said he liked this version better

  • Elton John avec "Lucy in the sky with diamonds" et Joe Cocker avec "Whit a little help from my friends" deux merveilleuses interprétations, géniales de deux des classiques des Beatles. Thanks for reading. :-)

  • Can't compare...both are great in their own right.

  • i grew up with this one, so id have to say this one is better

  • Wonderful!

  • if i simply say John's is better can i avoid trouble?

  • I love recorders.... Especially since I can play one lol. :D
