How inspiring she did on that video. Sadly her father passed away late last year. My condolences to Ms.Corn for her loss.

BTW, research suggests that asanas have an origin in Danish gymnastics. The range is more recent than the rest of the yogic practices. When India was trying to win its freedom from England, they added the asanas to their ancient yogic practices (prana, philospohy, existing meditative poses) to encourage strong bodies and thus strong minds. Filtering the asanas through yoga only stengthens the practice in my mind. What a great way to introduce Westerners to the gifts of Eastern thought. Namaste.

Seane Corn's practice and insight is inspirational to me. Is it commercial? Perhaps. Is it heartfelt? Yes, I truly believe it is. Who cares if it's commercial if it leads others to higher levels? It doesn't mean you've joined a cult. If she arouses your negativity, face your own demons within-it is you, not her. Many may take up yoga for exercise purposes...but some will find their way into the deeper levels. Isn't it worth it if yoga turns even one more person toward a positive path?

I dont mean to be disrespectful. But I could not have done this when I was 16 and
athletic, so how am I supposed to do this when I am 55. I think indeed she can name
it " Body Prayer" because my Lord I am praying I would not break my spine if I even
tried it.
Seane is so inspirational.
Watching her body prayer is a divine experience.

I cannot adequately find the right words.. you can really 'feel' her intentions in her face and movement. That is a lesson for us all to learn from. Thank you and Namaste.
