VK5FSKS & VK5MTM PORTABLE FROM SEMAPHORE BEACH, SA - 22.01.2012

It was a nice hot 37 degrees here in Adelaide on Sunday (22.01.12) and I got a sms from Scott (VK5FSKS) that evening asking if I wanted to go down to the beach.... to play radio of course! I was keen as so we both met up at Semaphore Beach which is roughly 20(ish) km from the center of Adelaide.

By the time we were set up it was already 7.30pm so we only got to operate for just over an hour before we started loosing sunlight quickly, but we still had a great time.

Stations worked were VK2MJW, VK4BI and ZL2TV/M.
