We have a half-century long history of poets, artists, singers, musicians, actors and performers of all description and the extended visionary public they attract who have all been drawn to Washington Square Park to celebrate The Fine Arts. The notion of art thriving in public parks is a worldwide and long-standing cultural phenomenon. I simply don't understand any so-called "Authority" who now comes along and tells me these people don't belong in the park? FIGHT CRIME ~ Not Art/Music.

As I am listening to all the artists and residents talk about how vibrant the parks used to be, I am livid with fury. As a artist who has the galleries take a huge commission from my art just to sell, had to pay for a tax id number, paid for permits to sell my work in the parks etc........ I stand 1000% with the artists of NY! Please know that all my thoughts, and prayers are with you.I will let the state of NY know that I along with thousands of others of people are watching.
The first 3 minutes are hard to make out. The rest is perfectly clear.
