I saw a show on this tour in Kyoto, Japan (Nick Lowe opened alone for Elvis alone, then the band and Nick lowe came in for Elvis' second set) and ended up partying with the band and Nick Lowe later that night. Long story, but no Elvis in it...

Think about it in a sarcastic way.. PL&U . usually means You got learned for believing in those principles. That's what's funny. Get it.

It's Nick Lowe, original writer of the song. At the very end, Elvis credits him by saying excitedly into the mic, "Mr. Nick Lowe!"
