Most modern bands.. I agree. There are a few that stand out though, with much better quality.
Pagan's Mind for one.. check out their new CD Heavenly Ecstasy... first song I would recommend is "Intermission"

Shows them at their height, or is it? Just saw them at the Garage Glasgow the other night there,and they were fantastic. Probably never going to reach these heights again but if they keep producing albums like the new one then they will be around for a LONG LONG time!!!!

I feel sorry for Magnum. Great band but they never quite made it. Such a shame when you hear run of the mill rock bands getting lucky with one hit. Saw Magnum Leas cliffe hall, Folkestone 10 years ago, Kingdom of Madness was fantastic. Wild Swan is cool, tried to break America but again no luck....

half the modern rock bands today are utter shit, they cant hold a candle to older bands like magnum and maiden/ Queen/ black sabbath/led zepelin/judas priest kizz/motley crue/ wasp/thin lizzie the list is endless i cant possibly name them all here that practically founded rock...these bands songs if you listen them are practically small story's in themselves.modern bands pale into insignificance by comparrison!!
