Police: 'DC Madam' Believed to Be Dead

Police in Florida say a woman they believe is Deborah Jean Palfrey has been found dead of an apparent suicide. Palfrey was convicted of running a prostitution service that catered to Washington's political elite. (May 1)

Nothing to see here folks. It was a suicide OK? Nevermind the fact that it was rumored she had info on mccain and other top govt officials. But they would never do such a thing ok? Isn't american idol on tonite...perhaps the NFL? Nothing to see here.

I'm sure most people wouldn't openly admit to suicide in a public interview. She told Dan Moldea that little quote in my first comment a week before she offed herself. In the presence of her mother she went into the backyard and then into the shed. Why is she going to an otherwise empty shed for no reason in particular? Is the government using mind control rays at her to lure her to her killer? No. She didn't want to go to jail so she tied a noose and tipped the chair.

Where pray tell did you get your information from? Your source seems the opposite of her statements in an audio interview with Alex Jones. She states VERY CLEARLY she is not going to attempt suicide, that she plans on going to court and that SHE DOES NOT PLAN ON COMMITTING SUICIDE!!!!! There is also a quote from her regarding how worried she was to go to jail, how she would be raped, mamed or murdered in jail.

I cannot wait to find out who was on her list. It will come out at some point...someone will have to step up. I wonder if she employed gay males as well? Under Bush Sr. there were gay male prostitutes in the white house...I wonder how much of a "boy's club" Washington really is?

No I believe what she exactly said was "I am not going back to prison. I will commit suicide first." She transfered her bank accounts to her mom, watched videos of her dead father and transfered her ownership of her HS website to her friend. Seems like she was getting her affairs in order before she killed herself. The release of the suicide notes goes against you too.

It shows what AP is. It's owned by very powerful people who have big secrets. As soon as any person, investigative journalist or sex businesswoman, goes too far in uncovering their criminal acts, they end up dead or destroyed. It's such a shame the way the Associated Press reports her death, as if they knew nothing of DC Madam's messages to the world, in which she spoke of her fear that she'll be killed and that it will look like suicide.

The names in the book are to be released in Aug 2008. The book is in the hands of her family and is told from what I hear is to be released. Questions of a second book is locked away in the Islands of the Cove.

It's a shame! She's dead and for what? If we weren't so uptight about sex this type of thing, murder, blackmail, wouldn't happen. Who cares if Cheney or McCain got their rocks off. By the look of McCains prudish wife I wouldn't blame him one bit!
