UTSA BAND == 1ST ever RIVERWALK PEP RALLY == Fri., 9/2/11

----This video contains sights and sounds recorded before and during the PEP RALLY for the UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS at SAN ANTONIO's inaugural football game. The game will be played the following day (Sat., 9-3-11) at 1:00 p.m. in the Alamodome. There opponent will be Northeastern State U. (OK).
----Late afternoon on Friday (9-2-11) members of the UTSA marching band and the school's cheerleaders boarded river barges on the RIVERWALK to make their way to the rally that'll be held at the river level PLAZA of the GRAND HYATT HOTEL.
----As the band and cheerleaders floated down the river, they stirred up the atmosphere with their lively music and spirited yells. Many of the RIVERWALK's visitors were unexpectedly caught up in the novelty and excitement while they walked along the river's banks or sat at quaint eatery patios.
----Finally, the barges filled with UTSA band members and cheerleaders floated into their destination, the PEP RALLY at the GRAND HYATT'S RIVER PLAZA. Their arrival signaled the beginning of the historic event. As expected, they were greeted with tremendous enthusiasm by the anxiously waiting crowd of fans and curious onlookers.
