48 Hours 2008- Love in Strange Places

As part of the 48 Hour Film festival, team Cath entered with this fancy number. Our theme was romance but we still can confirm some missing limbs..

We were unfortunatly disqualified for no audio in our tape submitted so another year gives us rendering issues.

48 Hours is a national New Zealand cometition where teams register and get together each year to make a movie of a given genre in 48 hours. hahahaaha. nah i dont even know. i kinda just joined a team at the last minute cause they had no kind of plan, direction or experience. havent seen them since.

gutted about the sound, this is actually a pretty hilarious entry and could have done quite well. i like the way cath laughs as her guts burst out of her stomach.

what is the weird guys accent by the way?

hahaha!! good question as to which I would not be able to answer lol, I think its like half russian south african something made on the spot lol its not anything natural.. Yeh there a few places of laughter in the audio where it was so phantom.. couldnt find it in the audio to cut out! was so weird

i think it's scottish. there should have been a sound effect (you know, the tapwater one) over the gutbursting shot to mask the laughter. i'm all for even more homemade special effects next year!

ahahha! definately, I think we did fine for time on the recording time of things, it was the initiation that ate away at the time and stuff.. oh and tiredness XD just be more efficient i guess
