Welcome to the Politican!

The Politican is a news source dedicated to helping young people in Vancouver understand and become informed on issues in Vancouver, BC and Canada.

We're starting up the Politican because we've noticed that it's so difficult to find good information about politics in Canada (party positions, issues, debate information, everything), especially because Canada has failed to use new media and new ways to mobilize young people.

Our mission is to bring the news to you - in a way that makes it simple to grasp (no old-skool political rhetoric) and informs you on the issues. All you have to do is subscribe, sit back and enjoy, and make a few comments once 'n a while to let us know how we're doing.

We get that not everyone likes politics, but we're hoping to get you a little more interested and a little more engaged in it. Give it a shot!

Tell us how you think politics could be made more interesting in Canada. We need to get more ideas from you to make this worth it for you :)

People don't actually follow politics in Canada or as much as they should do as we might assume simply because lifestyles are much greater than in most countries including and not limiting America, I mean common, we can't compare crimes rates or unemployment of these two countries so why should I , citizen of Canada start trouble with the government and why all the drama? lol
