"Jefferson" (ADOPTED!!) Our Beautiful White/Beige German Shepherd/Husky

Want to Donate? Go to http://www.dawg-rescue.org/donate.htm. Jefferson is a gorgeous shep/husky mix who followed a volunteer's son home one night when he was walking his dog. There was evidence that Jefferson had been chained (he probably broke free). So Jefferson's "emancipation" began that night, but was by no means a sure thing.

The next morning Jefferson was taken to the shelter as a stray. Certainly someone was looking for this sweet dog who only wanted belly rubs! After about a week, no one claimed him. We felt fate brought Jefferson to us, so we said he would be ours.

Jefferson is a wonderful, very social dog. Those eyes are unforgettable. Jefferson, let's hope your new family finds you soon, so you can start living the life you deserve!

What a pretty dog, I have a husky/shepherd mix who's got darker colors and is beautiful too, such great dogs.

I knew my dog was a mix!!! People had suggested it was a pure breed albino shepherd or some sort of shepherd, but I knew by looking at his face he wasn't. His ears and face were similar to a husky instead. Jefferson looks EXACTLY like my dog, except his face is a bit different with diff beige shade somewhere else.

Wow, this is pretty cool, the dog has a video. Great way to allow potential adoptive families a way to get a look at him. I've put in my application.
