As a Matter of Law: Steve McQueen's Mesothelioma Diagnosis and Asbestos Exposure Many are aware that famous movie actor, Steve McQueen, died of cancer. But few are aware he actually had a mesothelioma diagnosis. As most are also not aware, Steve McQueen worked in a shipyard as a young man -- where he was likely exposed to asbestos.
Asbestos exposure is the only well established cause of mesothelioma. Asbestos exposure is also known to cause lung cancer and colon cancer. A mesothelioma diagnosis occurs many years after asbestos exposure, and may not develop for more than 50 years after the first asbestos exposure.
Levy Phillips & Konigsberg, LLP, has experienced New York and New Jersey mesothelioma lawyers. Robert Komitor, who has more than 20 years of experience in mesothelioma lawsuits, discusses the importance of a very detailed occupational history. to joeo78501 and ObamaRules4Ever:: Your comments are cruel and vile, not to mention untrue. This man was an icon, and no one cares whether you like him or not.If you dont like him, just take off.Your words are an indication of who you are.
His drinking and drugs affected his life, his macho mysoginstic mood swings wrecked his life & those around him. In the long run all you need is your family. You have swallowed Hollywood PR bullshit. Do not place to much emphasis on pop culture. Alot of these characters are pathetic narcisstic neurotic empty people who live shallow but indulgent hedonistic materialistic lives.
Of course all those things happened to him. Some environmental poisoning caused his disease; but drinking & drugs DID NOT cause his death. Asbestos killed him. All of that other you are refering to is BS. So you've got a good vocab I do too but most people could care less about how many words you know rather what can YOU do to make the world safer, cleaner and an all round good place to live. There's no law against having a good time either. You sound like you need some SERIOUS fun.
nor888: I have plenty of fun. How he lived his life or how you live yours is not BS. (always affects others) There are laws against spousal abuse, assault, DUI on and on. Reason laws exist is because people do care how others behave. Many who uverindulge in drugs, alcohol & sadistic behaviors are dead souls long before they die.
