ICC is a bloody Joke. For the same reasons that they have convicted Bashir in Darfur, They should be arresting Bush , cheney, Tony Blair, livni, olmert and the whole rotten bunch, who have created havoc around the world. In fact this ruling clearly shows, that ICC is an Imperialist instrument used against the 3rd world to impose the imperialist designs planned by the west to rule over Africa and the rest of the poor nations around the world.

Well Omar like all Muslims outside of Africa sees Africans as Zanj/Abdul slave not servant. Even in the Bible Jesus came for only the Jews. I realise you are ignorant. Charles Taylor was indicted while he was sitting as was Milosovic. They inevitably will be because its usually dictators who are indicted and they never want to give up their power. The reason the court has not indicted the USA heirachy is because they and Israel are Western countries which means their courts are functional. That is the key difference. Western Judicial systems are more independent and functional than those of the 3rd world. Read a book sometime moron

You are right, I'm sure war crimes were commited in Sudan, But so was war crimes commited by America and its allies in Iraq, War Crimes were commited In palestine by Israel...

So the ICC needs to be independent, otherwise citizens of the world will see it as a joke.

Also, A sitting president can't be indicted. Thats clear in International Law, so this is an illegal act they have commited!!!

im doing an report on the ICC and how it is completely ineffective as its supposed to put criminals of war away... but it's so stupid how all crimes in war seem to be treated as excusable because of heightened tension in times of war that causes ppl to act upon animal instinct. and in how rape is used as tool of war- its fucking disgusting how much the ICC allows criminals to get away with. the efforts of the ICC are fucking futile.
