Lamb of God - Walk With Me In Hell cover 2/3/11

Only just discovered Lamb of God. Not all that keen on the vocals, but love the sound of the music.

This one a particular favourite. Thought it sounded do-able, so done it. Great pick hand work out - & that's not just for noses, kids. My arm pumped up like a teenager on viagra.

It's a little messy - my playing, not the teenager's duvet - but I thought it was a fair representation of how I've been playing it. The only bit I'm a bit unhappy about is the blazing run at the end of the solo - I had to do a sloppy legato version instead of the alternate picked one on the original, but hey ho, if I can't do it, I can't do it.

Did you modify your guitar? I tried an Explorer some months ago and it has a really poor sound. Your Gibson has much more chruch than the one that I tried.

@paki46 No, I haven't modified it at all. It's really resonant though - any taps/hits on the guitar body are amplified hideously.
