  • Loved this band, followed them everywhere. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!!!

  • listen to some proper live material and you'll be proved wrong. the band should not be critisized for miming, it's just down to whatever the show demands

  • Blossom!?............Ok!.The ban were great...Get back to-gether again!!!

  • This doesn't do justice to what they were as a live act. Saw them in '89 at the Jolly Boatman (now demolished) at East Molesey, & the guitars & dums were HUGE, really rocked the venue. She was a real star, short, pretty, brave & blonde standing out fronting the unit with real character & dazzling under the spotlight amidst a jangle of tamborines

Shame they ran dry of material & couldn't develop

  • they sound like buzzcocks meets the go-go's

  • This was from Going Live, a 'live' Saturday morning kids tv show, on air for up to 3 hours with several music performances, It had to be mimed because it was physically impossible to turn around a live sound check for each band in the confines of a live show back then, This is your reason for the mime, Top of The Pops, the BBC's flagship chart music show was the same. I used to shoot these shows, thank goodness for Jools Holland nowadays.

  • jamie is so hot....and way cool...

  • I always get this lot and The Primatives mixed up

  • can't wait for the reunion show! can't believe i get to play with them

  • Fella at 4.0m looks like the slim, ginger fella from The Full Monty.

  • This lot were great and never got the recognition or success they deserved

  • I saw the Darling Buds many times in the late 80's...Andrea could definately sing...Class band
