Ledger Live for Tuesday April 14th, 2009 - Ledger Live with Brian Donohue. On today's show: Across New Jersey, dairy farmers are hurting - so badly that some are auctioning off their cows and giving up on generations-old milking operations. On today's Ledger Live, we visit the Norz family farm in Somerset County, which recently auctioned off 275 cows. The farm, hit hard by the global downturn in milk prices, is shutting down its milking operations and hoping to reinvent itself as an agritourism destination. We also talk with Daniel Wunderlich, coordinator of the dairy program and enforcement with the NJ Department of Agriculture.
