One more comment . . . if you have purchased the book through the iTunes book store, go to "(already" purchased section and sync from there (i.e. "download all")

PS: You can also buy the book from iTunes itself (the "book" section) and then sync to the iDevice.

1st: Hook up to iTunes and do a backup (i.e. Right click on "devices" and choose backup.

2nd: A question: how are you trying to "Download?" Can you add it to the iTunes (book) library first? Then sync as normal.

or 3rd: Add the book, and then sync (after you have first backed up the mobile device as I mentioned above). If everything is accidentally deleted, the syncing (after adding the book) will bring everything back . . but be SURE to back it all up. Those are my thoughts. Larry Edison

I'm having a problem downloading ebook to iphone. If, I choose to sync, I get the following message: "Are you sure you want to sync book? All existing songs, movies and TV shows on the iphone will be removed." I don't want to lose my music thats' on the iphone, so I choose not to sync. Is there another way to download the ebook onto the iphone? Thanks for sharing and help!!
