Oh Say Can You Sing - Norm Carlson

This is my entry for the Oh Say Can You Sing contest for the Smithsonian National Museum of American History's celebration of Flag Day. On June 14, 2009, the original flag that was seen by Francis Scott Key and inspired the creation of our National Anthem, will be placed into it's new permanent home at the Smithsonian. This contest will determine who gets to sing at the dedication ceremony. Please help me be involved in this dedication. It would be my honor to be able to sing for my country. I sing our National Anthem proudly and without unneccessary "inflection" that can all too frequently turn it into more of a spectacle, for all the wrong reasons. I am proud to sing it for you.
