How to install a SIM card into any generation iPhone*. (iPhone 4 pictured)

*All iPhone's work in the same way, however the older generation iPhone's have a SIM slot at the top of the phone - next to the hold button.

@weedge123 Verizon is a CDMA network. Only GSM phones use Sim cards. However the NEW Verizon iPhone (4s) has made the switch and DOES include a SIM card (finally!!!!)

my sim wont come out... ive tried pushing a clothes pin in it pretty hard. & it still wont come out!

American iPhones don't include the SIM card removal tool - at least the one I bought at the Apple store didn't. Probably the US corporate mind-set of making it more difficult for anyone to do anything convenient unless it makes them more money...

@sunscience - Some American customers get the SIM removal tool, some don't. But yes, it's probably to fool average iPhone customers into thinking their SIM card is non-removable. How sad.

you see the warning about dont put the sim without the sim card holder well... i kinda did that. do you know a way of getting it out
