http://divinecocktails.blogspot.com/ shows you how to mix a Bahama Mama.
You'll need:
- 2.0 cl Rum from Jamaica
- 2.0 cl White Rum
- 2.0 cl Dark Rum
- 2.0 cl Malibu (Rum - Coconut)
- 2.0 to 4.0 cl Orange Juice
- 2.0 to 4.0 cl Pineapple Juice
- 2.0 cl Lemon Juice
- up to 2 cl Grenadine (to taste)
As always use fresh juices as much as possible (and handy) to give your cocktail a nice fresh finish. For the Bahama Mama you can go a bit easier on the lemon juice depending on how tangy you want it, also you can add a bit more of the Grenadine in case you want it sweeter.
Put everything in the shaker with ice and give it a good shake. Strain into a glass (Long Drink Glass) and garnish with a cherry or/and orange slice.
The Bahama Mama is a really nice refreshing cocktail and I love the hint of coconut that the Malibu gives to it.
Enjoy :)
