@5angus5 Hmm, no that doesn't sound like preamp distortion to me, but ya it's probably 50 percent preamp. Probably because he's playing at a lowrr volume. The best gain comes from your power tubes....

mhmm.. imo, the les paul is better than sg.... Sg isnt well balanced at all when you stand up playing it! the les paul is just perfectly balanced. :D
