Amtrak 48 In Amherst, OH

A tripleheaded Amtrak Lake Shore Limited #48 cruises through Amherst Ohio on its way to the Elyria Amtrak Station. The engineer gave us a GREAT salute! This train was about four and a half hours late. Sorry about the camera shake, we don't have a tripod. =)

@TheDylanJoyce Amtrak probably needed the third engine in New York or something. They were probably just transporting it.

@OhioRails 48 goes through at 5:00 a.m. and 49 goes through around 3:30 a.m.

I wonder why it was 2 hours late. I also filmed this train when it was 2 hours late and it was going real fast.

Thanks! All four of the Amtraks (Capitol Limited 29 and 30, and Lake Shore Limited 48 and 49) come through Amherst in the middle of the night between the hours of 1 and 5 (if they are on time). My brother and I are always happy when there is a late Amtrak becuase we rarely get to see them! =)
