I was in second grade. My teacher straight up told us we were under attack :( of course I didn't care, until she showed us the people jumping out.

I was in 5th grade, and 11 years old when this happened. It just started as a normal school day, and we didn't know what had happened until after lunch break. Our teacher told us what was going on, and we got out of school early. My grandfather took me and my sister to his house, and I immediately turned the tv on, and saw this big cloud of smoke and dust. My jaw just dropped. Thank you to all the firefighters police officers, and especially our troops serving overseas!

I was only in third grade, when this happened. All I knew when it happened, was something bad was going. I wasn't old enough to know what was going on. By the time I was old enough, I thought. "how horrifying! How could that happen to our country? How are we going to cope with this?" And that was when I started to truly respect our country, our army troops, our firefighters. All of the people who help to protect and serve our country. Thank you to all the people who fight for us and serve for us
