  • I am in this video several times. you wrote that we were heros. Thank you for that. But we are not heros, just a lot of people who love animals and had an incredible experience helping. The bond I formed with those people will be forever in my memory, just as much as the animals will be.

Thank you so much for this video. You made my day.

  • Nice work, Susan!

Bless the rescuers and the reuniters!

  • One day I pray that people will be as loyal and devoted to their best friends as they are to us. Thanks to all who tried to make up for the deficit.

  • Susan, thank-you, for all of your work for the past two and a half years, including this moving video. It is a wonderful tribute to so many, from start to finish and to those still nearing the finish line. The tears still flow ever so easily. The video is hard to watch and at the same time it is good to watch.

  • This is by far the finest Katrina pet video essay I've seen on the net. Thank you Susan.

  • Thankyou for your courage in the face of such tragedy. So much suffering still to this day.

  • Susan, I am overwhelmed by your video and by memories of an unthinkable time. Thank you. Especially for the reunions at the end, which helps a little.

  • Says it all! Bravo to all those folks who manned Camp Lucky and Bravo to you, Susan, for all that you do and still do!
