  • Engineering is fine if you have a relative or friend that helps you get in. This is not the case with me. I can not get interviews, despite having an EE degree PLUS experience 10 years.

    Unemployment among American engineers is high. They wasted too much time and money for chasing a dream that they never really had a chance in obtaining--that was my case.

    Colleges should only let in enough students to replace the available engineering jobs.

    Why help create such a high unemployment rate?
