Congressman Alan Grayson of Orlando discussed large banks and their responsibility for the financial crisis with John Bovenzi, the Chief Operating Officer of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The FDIC is an independent government agency that insures bank and thrift deposits up to $250,000, and is responsible for certain types of bank failures.

  • Cong. Grayson was asking questions most people wanted answers to. The small audience there tells me that most people didn't even know that someone actually asked these questions somewhere at some point--and they were asked when it was too late.

These questions should have been pressed to Hank Paulsen when he was sitting before Congress BEFORE he was given unquestioned power over 805 billion dollars.

  • Alan Grayson seems like a smart guy,

    America is bankrupt.

  • @unfortunatebeam Yes I agree, and that was my point in my original post.

  • @HorneyToad1 but just think of this. If it wasn't for media technology like youtube, even less would listen to it or even be aware of it.

We do improve, at least incrementally.

  • @basak983 stfu

  • @JOMO59 the people well dressed, articulate, intelligent (at least a certain kind of intelligence), well spoken, have and continue to commit THE MOST despicable acts and have the power and reach to commit it to the most people.

  • JFK was destroying the power of the Federal Reserve board by having it's government print its own money interest free with an executive order signed by Kennedy in June of '63. Abraham Lincoln had its government print its own money interest free as well with what he called greenbacks, to reduce the amount of debt his government would have to face after the Civil War, in which the London Rothschilds funded the North and the Paris Rothschilds funded the South.

    Look what happened to them.

  • This continues to prove that one can be well dressed, articulate, intelligent, well spoken and still commit despicable acrs. The moral: don't judge a book by its cover; especially what purports to be a good book. It often isn't.

  • Rep Grayson you are now my new favorite congressman keep up the good work.
