My first real video that isn't a reply. Yay!
Also a first video in a while...
Next video is going to have a wide-screen resolution... Unless I'm gonna use old material :P
Yes, I'm going to do a new "theist owned in 5 seconds"... when I feel like it of course.

  • you claim to get your morals from your parents but where did the get it from?

You say you have a meaningful life just because you can place value on something, but what gives it value? You? Where do you get your value?

  • You say that you do not have to prove there is a god. Then you say that the burden of proof is on someone insisting something. Aren't you insisting there is not a god? You say atheist do not have to prove that god does not exist but you continue to make multiple arguments clearly saying that he does no exist. If the burden of proof is not on you then why do you argue? Is it then possible to suggest that you feel some burden?

  • @tubaja "Aren't you insisting there is not a god?"

No I am not. I disbelief the claim of a god. I would even go as far as saying I do not believe in a god due to the lack of evidence. If someone would come to you and say Aren't you insisting there is no Santa Claus, what''s your proof? Burden of proof is on the party that is claiming that something exists. These arguments have been gone over a million times. READ A BOOK FOR CHRIST SAKE. JESUS. All day every day I hear these same lame arguments.

  • @tubaja

Morals are innate and a byproduct of upbrining, evolution and so forth.

When we go back in time for example 500 years, we can clearly see that nowadays people act in a more civilized manner. Morals have "evolved". We are constantly getting more freedom and more rights. If morals were absolute they would not change but they do all the time, as time changes. They are not absolute. Value is not something tangible. It is how we perceive things. Some people value some things more than others.

  • The bibe is ultimate truth, every word is inpired by God. Morals come from the Lord, other people and books have taken them from the bible. Also creation happened over days, not millions of years, look at the facts. if we believe in the bible, believe all of it, we can't put our own thinking into it to help us understand. Proverbs 3 says trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on yuor own understanding. you either believe creation or evolution, not both.

  • "The bibe is ultimate truth"

    Evidence?

    "Morals come from the Lord"

    Evidence?

"Also creation happened over days, not millions of years, look at the facts"

    Yes... I have.

"you either believe creation or evolution, not both"

Amazing. Looks like there's something we agree on.

Except I obviously think that you're batshit insane for thinking this world came to existence within days.

  • To master: I have never understood the appeal of living trillions of trillions upon trillions of years. Maybe a few thousand, but billions of trillions of trillions? That would only work if we weren't human (our joys come through knowing tragedy), and there's no religious claims that we wouldn't be human, and thus bored to tears for many trillions of years after the first few trillions of trillions.

  • An atheist arguing with a theist is like a historian arguing with a holocaust denier. No matter how many facts the atheist has, the theist will deny them.

  • @tubaja "help me see what you see."

You've got it entirely backwards. You, as the party who believes the whole Mother Teresa bunk, are the one who carries the responsibility to explain why she DOES deserve some kind of special recognition.

  • @UnderlordZ actually what bugs me the most is that I feel like you have read one article and assume that it must be. Please tell me that I am wrong. I really want to understand where you are comin from, but I cant because its all speculation. You have said nothing Christopher Hitchens, Michael Parenti, Aroup Chatterjee, or Vishva Hindu who all strongly criticize her. everything said can be found in a thousand word article by DM and is based incomplete truths. help me see what you see.

  • @UnderlordZ "she was awarded the Padma Shri in 1962 and the Jawaharlal Nehru Award for International Understanding in 1969.[60]. She continued to receive major Indian rewards in successive decades including, in 1972, in 1980, India's highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna.[61]:"

  • @UnderlordZ ok no. There is no evidence to support that since the money went to opening up missions. Greed cannot be it. Money's only value comes from the fact that it can get people what they want otherwise its worthless. You say that her "prayers" made her delusional. she prayed for the poor. she has helped start over 517 missionaries where christian, muslim, and atheists people want to come to just help.

  • @tubaja Greed is always a possibility, but I think it's more likely that she was delusional about her "prayers" "helping" people.

But the fact remains, she admitted hundreds, probably even THOUSANDS of people who came to her thinking she was going to help make them less sickly; but she didn't. That's called embezzlement, and were she still alive it'd be more than enough to bring her to court on criminal charges.

  • @UnderlordZ that doesn't make any sense. she has no motive.

  • @tubaja Yes, because SHE DID!

  • @UnderlordZ ok but you would do something. I'm sure anyone who had a million dollars would do something with the money. But, you claim that Mother Teresa left her home and lived in the crappiest places in the world just to make money that she would do nothing with?
